GoFuel: checking fuel card refuellings

A fuel card shows that a refuelling took place. Which vehicle the fuel went into is not visible from it.

So we built GoFuel - an application that compares every refuelling with where the vehicle was at that moment. It opens in the tracking system from the applications menu, nothing needs to be installed.

For every refuelling you can see the vehicle, the card, the station, the quantity and the amount. Next to it is the result: "Confirmed" if the vehicle was within a hundred metres of the station, and "Doubtful" if further away. Clicking a row opens a map with the two points and the distance between them.

"Doubtful" does not mean a violation: the device may have sent its data late and the vehicle had already left. The application also shows that time gap, so there is something to compare against.

GoFuel reads data from Alexela, Neste and Olerex. We know Neste stations outside Estonia too: Latvia, Lithuania, Finland. Talks with Circle K are under way.
